Name: Gilbert Beilschmidt
Representative of: Prussia
Gender: Male
Human Age: 20
Historical Age: 497 (As of 2022)
Brief personality:
Gilbert is a self-absorbed megalomaniac. He thrives on the idea of invading other countries just to make him feel stronger, as seen in an instance with Ivan Braginsky, or Russia, in their younger years, while Prussia had been just the Teutonic Knights. As he grew older, Gilbert had become disestablished as a nation. In a pathetic attempt to relive his glory days as would a 40 year old ex-cheerleader, he constantly refers to himself as awesome as to reaffirm his delusions of grandeur. Now, almost harmless as a nonexistent nation, he is more of an annoyance than anything.
Brief physical description:
Gilbert is a man of average height and weight. He works out, constantly attempting to improve his image, therefore making him more on the muscular side. His hair is pure white, his skin is pale and his eyes are a reddish hue of purple. His uniform consists of a black shirt and tie under a navy blue suit, finished with a fine pair of tall leather boots. Outside of uniform, he is a big fan of casual streetwear.
Brief history:
Gilbert was once representative of the Teutonic Knights, a group of catholic Germanic soldiers of the German Crusaders who conquered many lands. Prussia was later established in these conquered lands as a German state in 1525. In 1701, Duke Frederick I formed the Kingdom of Prussia, making him King Frederick II, whom Gilbert affectionately refers to as Fritz Vater, or Father Fritz. In 1871, under Prussian rule, the German Empire had been formed. Now, Prussia’s old conquered land now makes up parts of Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Denmark, Belgium, and the Czech Republic.
Religious affiliation:
Prussia as a nation was about 2/3 Protestant and 1/3 Catholic, while Gilbert himself was formerly Catholic and now Protestant.
