Personality:
Theodore is a friendly man. When you meet him on a day out, or any other time, he is almost gauranteed to come and say hello. He loves to talk, to people, and could be described accurately as an all around good guy. He has a fascination with boats, and cats, as well as cooking, although he may not be any good at the last part. He seemingly loves life, and everything about it. He has a tendency to be a bit of a flirt, as well.

He is also liable to joke around when he is on the job. He can go from ultra violent to completely friendly in a matter of seconds. However he never hurts people that are not a threat to him or his mission. He can sometimes be a bit jarring, as his job has desensitized him to nearly everything, so he sometimes loses track of when something is inappropriate to talk about. A recent death, for example.

Appearance:
Theodore is a tall man, about 6'4, with brown hair, and brown eyes. He usually wears hoodies, and sweatshirts, and stuff like that. That is, unless he is on the job. If he's on a mission, he will wear tactical gear, and carry multiple weapons. If he is merely doing reconnaissance, he will probably be wearing business casual, like a button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Sometimes, he will wear glasses, too, just cause he likes the look. He almost always has some sort of gun stored on him somewhere, but he prefers not to use it. He is muscular, and fit, although a bit less tanned than most Italians, due to him usually being covered in tactical gear.

History:
Venice was built as an island fortress in 421 AD as a refuge from the Huns, who were rampaging through Europe. The island was a city state for the next millennium, becoming one of the richest, and most powerful nations in Europe. Venice controlled the trade of spices, silks, and many other things coming from the east, which garnered many enemies. The easily defended nature of the island, as well as many job prospects led to a significant number of Jewish people moving into the city, which led to the first ghetto in European history. Venice stayed a relatively powerful state, all the way until the Risorgimento in the mid 1800's, when it unified with the rest of Italy. However, Austria staked a claim, and took control of the city for many years, only after the first world war was it returned to Italy. During the interwar period, Venice served as an important trading as well as cultural site for Italy. During the second world war, the population of Venice was not bombed, but grew tired of war, and the regime of Mussolini, leading to a large amount of resistance growing in the city. It was liberated a few days before the end of the war by British and New Zealand forces. Since then, Venice has been an extremely popular tourist destination, and has begun to have problems relating to this. The famous San Marco's Square has begun to flood regularly, due to the tremendous weight of millions of additional people, every day. There are innumerable other problems as well. However it is still considered by many to be the most beautiful place on earth.
