Name:
Stratos.

Representative of:
War.

Gender:
Male.

Age:
Human: 26.
Historical: Been around since Hell.

Personality:
Stratos is an intelligent, slightly impulsive demon of war, made purely for fighting. That's all that's in his blood, and he's very bloodthirsty. He's sadistic and merciless, finding joy in fighting and crushing his opponents. He's surprisingly not easy to anger and is levelheaded, as a good warrior should be, he just finds fun in destroying those who talk back to him or disrespect him.

He does not make friends, only enemies, and has no motivation to change his sadistic attitude. When he's not in the mood for fighting, which is rare, he enjoys being independent and reading. Though he comes across as condescending, he never underestimates others as it can be fatal in war. He only sticks with one person that he deems his ally, his dragon Malinda. He rides into war with her, both in matching armour to signal their allegiance. He had owned her since she was a tiny dragon, and he is protective of her and they treat each other with respect.

If you meet Stratos not in war, you better hope Malinda is around because otherwise he's a sadistic monster. He only acts like a normal person around her, and by that, he's grumpy and a bit snarky. Though if you meet them in battle, you better say your last words because they will both destroy you.

Backstory:

Appearance:
Stratos is a black-haired, multicoloured eyed demon who is made for war, thus muscular. He has razor sharp claws and a bladed tail and wings. He has horns, which are black and large, though sometimes he doesn't have them showing. His armour is black purely, with some glowing bits of bright cyan. Since he uses shadow magic, he often radiates a dark black aura around him.

History:
War is a state of armed conflict between states, governments, societies and informal paramilitary groups, such as mercenaries, insurgents and militias. It is generally characterized by extreme violence, aggression, destruction, and mortality, using regular or irregular military forces. Warfare refers to the common activities and characteristics of types of war, or of wars in general. Total war is warfare that is not restricted to purely legitimate military targets, and can result in massive civilian or other non-combatant suffering and casualties.

The scholarly study of war is sometimes called polemology, from the Greek polemos, meaning "war", and -logy, meaning "the study of".

While some scholars see war as a universal and ancestral aspect of human nature, others argue it is a result of specific socio-cultural, economic, or ecological circumstances.

Human history had numerous wars coming and going, but the average number of people dying from war has fluctuated relatively little, being about 1 to 10 people dying per 100,000. However, major wars over shorter periods have resulted in much higher casualty rates, with 100-200 casualties per 100,000 over a few years. While conventional wisdom holds that casualties have increased in recent times due to technological improvements in warfare, this is not generally true. For instance, the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) had about the same number of casualties per capita as World War I, although it was higher during World War II (WWII). That said, overall the number of casualties from war has not significantly increased in recent times. Quite to the contrary, on a global scale the time since WWII has been unusually peaceful.

Religion:
N/A.

Abilities:
He uses shadow magic and fights with dual battle axes. He is extremely powerful, Hell's champion. When with Malinda, they fight together as a duo of shadow and ice. When she's in human form, he gives one of his axes to her.

This character's hexcode is #993300.
