*He pats his arm, a gentle and reasureing pat* I doubt a lot of things. I doubted if I would ever make it out of the hellhole that was my hometown and I doubted if I would live long enough to make a name for myself. And you know more than nothing, you know how to lead men and what it means to love something so dearly you would die for it. And ah... that would ruin me as well, but, I have a good feeling about this. I feel as if, in the future, people will remember us with smiles on their faces.And President Washington, I honestly do not think you shall be assassinated, our nation is too fragile for that and everyone knows it. That would be like murder a child in its crib, it is too easy, to saddening. And doesnt it take more than a simple bullet to take you away from life? *He chuckles, his eyes lighying up from this joyous feeling arising in his stomach* And I guess you can never know... so you are right, that is all we can do. Trust in ourseleves and those in this nation we've made.

Well, it seems that everyone who doubts themselves usually ends up in the big spots...*he chuckles at the irony* And well, I guess it's true...I would die for my nation and family, which I'm sure any man would do, nothing special about that, really...*he sighs* I too, have a good feeling about our nation. I'm sure it will grow, perhaps beacome greater than our nemesis, Great Britain. But even though our people of future generations will look up to us, I'm sure there will be people, a small amount, who'll hate us. But we shouldn't worry about the minority, right? *he smiles* And yes, now that I think about it, who in their right mind would murder the president of their own country, when it is still young? *a sudden burst of pride hits him* And why yes, it takes quite a few more bullets to kill President Washington....but yes, we simply have to wait and see...wether there are rebels, or people looking to destroy us....but for now, we should bask in the glory of victory.

*He chuckles once more at him comment* I guess they do... I would like to think that is because the ones who doubt themselves have nothing to lose... so they give, whatever it is they are striving for, their best shot. And, even if every man already does it, doesnt make it any less honorable. I pray we become stronger than that non-democratic nation of Britian. The one I used to sing praises for, the one I was born into, and the one I wanted out of after studying and learning about this young nation. And yes, people will hate us... especially me for I know I know not how to keep my mouth shut when it comes to something I love. I am always willing to fight back, when the time is right, of course. But, worry not, we shall. *He sees his smile and stands taller, running a hand through his own hair to flatten its curls* Only a man who has no honor for himself, his family, and members of it to come would murder a man like you, President Washington. *He laughs at his prideful statement* That is the Washington I love to see everyday. The Washington I fought with and was willing to die for. *He stuffs a hand into his outer jacket pocket* Bask I shall, President Sir, and bask gloriously.

People who have lost everything do not to wish to see others in the same state, therefore they try their best and put in their all. It really makes a man happy, seeing someone helping others. *he smiles* And yes, I too, pray to become every stronger than Britain, but not to unleash war upon others, only to show them what a strong nation we've become without their help. You know, I wonder why we used to look up to Britain, the very ones we despise today....*he sighs* And I myself don't think people should hate you, but I am not the minority or majority of the people, so I really cannot say..but yes! Let us not worry..*he chuckles* One who would come to murder me must not have any honor left, really, nor does he value it. *he laughs boisterously* But yes, I shall remain prideful in myself and this country, or else the worst may come. *his smile widens* And that is why I won this war, not only for my people's independence but also for my people to remain prideful, even during the worst of times.
