Brief personality: Riku is a nerd. She geeks over techs and gadgets. Because of this, her time is usually spent in the robotics lab of the SFIT, which is no problem because she already graduated. She may be rude and sarcastic at first, since she doesn't know you that well, but she will get used to you if you hang out with her often. She can be jolly whenever around friends, which aren't many, and if alone, she can be seen writing in her small notebook or making a new gadget. She can be stubborn and defensive when her gadgets are being criticized. She can be serious if need be, but it's not always. She's not easily angered, and has a lot of patience - this is what she got from working on techs that takes too much time to finish. She is pretty observant too, as eyes are needed for her line of interest. She is usually carefree and always smiling, and has fondness for the Hamadas, especially Tadashi, who she encouraged to make Baymax, and who died when the Exhibition Hall of SFIT was alight with fire; she's quite fond of the younger Hamada as well, Hiro, when he joined the school.

Brief physical description: Riku has black short hair in which pins are putting her bangs to place. She has dark brown, almost black, eyes and sometimes she wears glasses. In some times, she can be seen with protective goggles on her head, which she usually forgets to remove. She usually wears a black and white hoodie and black shorts. She wears long socks that reaches to her mid-thighs and black boots that matches her outfit. She usually has this grin that says mischief or ideas. She has small burn marks on her back when the Exhibition Hall (SFIT) was on fire.

Brief history: San Fransokyo is the fictional city in which the 2014 Disney animated feature film Big Hero 6 takes place and is the home of the titular heroes. The layout of the city is a futuristic hybrid of artistic and technological architecture and a blend of both San Francisco and Tokyo architectural styles. Built on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, the city is designed to withstand the risk of earthquakes. The city is also a center for vast cultures besides the dominant Eastern and Western themes. However, behind the bright aesthetic is the underworld of illegal bot-fighting, often located in the dark, grungy alleys of the city. A large quantity of the buildings and technology in the city were constructed by Alistair Krei and his company, Krei Tech. According to Scott Watanabe, San Fransokyo is set in an alternate future where after the 1906 earthquake, San Francisco was rebuilt by Japanese immigrants using techniques that allowed movement and flexibility in a seismic event. After the city was finished being rebuilt, it was renamed San Fransokyo due to it being a city with Japanese and American architecture combined.
