| HUMAN INFO Name: Liáng Shi Tianyi. Formerly: Huáng Tianyi; Hanako.
Gender: Female.
Age: 22.
Physical Description: Eyes: Green/blue. Hair: Black/grey. Height: 5'1. Weight: 98lbs. More Info: The people of Lang-Baoshi more often than not, look a mix between Chinese and Japanese, due to their ancestors being from both countries, though some look more of one than the other. However, due to a strange genetic mutation found across the land, their eyes are more of a blue-green range rather than brown like their neighbors. Their skin is anything but fair, turned to a tan, due to the hardwork done by everyone (other than the rich). Along with that, the Baoshi are anywhere from pudgy, or lanky. They're thin to the point in which other countries think it's "unhealthy," and most have gained some muscle to their use of manual labor. Usually, Tianyi can be seen wearing the clothes of Baoshi: The torso and up looking like a Japanese Kimono, whilst the bottom takes on the appearance of a Qipao. The sleeves on her attire are so long that the dragons embroidered on them drag across the floor when she walks. On special occasions, however, her outfit looks very similar to a hanfu, the only difference being the ever long sleeves. Choice of shoe doesn't really matter, often, because most outfits are so long that they hide the feet.
- Appearance:
Brief Personality: Tianyi is very hard-working, never, ever taking days off to relax. She’s very stern and responsible, with very little tolerance. Many people describe her as a ‘tsundere’ type, which she always denies. Another thing to note is her quietness, she may seem like the type of person to be brash but really, she’s rather silent. Despite needing a lot of attention, she tries to keep to herself, a ‘loner’ one might call it.
Personal History: Around 960 Tianyi was first found by the fishermen from Japan who happened to stumble upon the island. When she was around 7 human years old, they gave her the name Hanako, as her sweet smile and joyful aura reminded them of beautiful flowers. Though, she grew very sad when the fishermen had to leave to return to Japan, missing their lessons and stories, as well as the songs they'd sing to her every night. She'd spend the time they were away crying, calling out for them. During her wails, Chinese fisherman came along, hearing the sound of a child in distress. They too, grew fond of her and did best they could to cheer her up. Eventually, she learned to like them, but always missed the Japanese Fishermen at heart. They did return eventually, filling her with joy. But, during their absence the Chinese fishermen raised her more strictly, causing her joyful aura to reduce a bit, and they renamed her Huáng Shi Fa, "Fa" meaning flower. Being raised by both of them has caused her to have identity crisis- was she chinese, or japanese? but she still enjoyed their company nonetheless. At last, when they decided to settle there permanently, they elected Kohaku Di as their president on June 9, 1057. This made Tianyi very happy, knowing that the people were there to stay. But, when the Baoshi started to wreak havoc... [W.I.P]

History:
- :
The first people on this island were fishermen from China and Japan. It was first just a place to stop and rest, converse with other fishermen and maybe even trade. Eventually, a few people began to reside there, and they elected a leader. All of the residents decided upon a republic, and the president's name was Kohaku Di. He named the island Lángheon, and the culture on the island was a diverse mix of Japanese and Chinese culture. They lived happily under the handsome president's leadership, not a care in the world. Eventually, years later, a rebel group disliked the republic and desired a monarchy. They called themselves the “Láng-Bǎoshí.” Quickly, they gathered many men and women to form a strong army, in order to bring the government and country into chaos. One by one, they killed off important officials, slowly bringing the government and country into ruin, just as they had planned. They were ruthless, and spared no-one, not even the children. After a mass murder, the president begged for them to stop, but of course, they weren’t going to stop until they got what they wanted. Ignoring the president's begging, they slaughtered him. The leader of the group, named Zhòng Kāng II, took over and declared himself the emperor. Note that he was only 19 when this happened. After that his thirst for blood had been quenched, so he stopped and focused on bettering his empire. Now, one may think he would try to decrease the pollution, bring back the nature but no, what he did was make his empire full of technology and mechanics. Using slave labor, he built tall skyscrapers and flying cars, though the area didn’t look the prettiest, it was functional. Though, even when his need for blood had vanished, he still stole from his neighboring countries, "accidentally" making enemies. He would constantly and ruthlessly train his army and navy until they were strong enough to take on Japan. He wanted to acquire some of their advanced technology. He sent the navy to Tokyo bay, and the soldiers stole technology from the shops and factories. They weren't caught, only being reported as they departed and headed back to Láng-Bǎoshí. They used these technologies for the betterment of their empire, making it even more advanced than it was, and looking nicer at that. Japan still hates them to this day, even though it was simply the emperor's doing. But even with their advanced tech, their army is their strongest and best means of defense. The emperor's empire is in much better state that it was when it was still new, but for some reason he still induces slave-labor and doesn't tend to the citizen's needs, therefore causing them to look as though they're in poverty, even the richest of men. Zhòng Kāng II is one of the worst rulers ever, according to the citizens. Sadly, they cannot do anything about it, unless they want to get publicly executed.
Culture: Baoshi culture is a sure mix of Chinese and Japanese, being ever so close and influenced by the two. Clothing: Women: Kimapao: The torso and up looking like a Japanese Kimono, whilst the bottom takes on the appearance of a Qipao. The sleeves are so long that the exquisite designs embroidered on them drag across the floor when she walks. On special occasions, Shanhu: The outfit looks very similar to a hanfu, the only difference being the ever long sleeves. Usually, these are made out of silk and have many, small designs on them. Only the rich, wealthy, and well known can afford these. Choice of shoe doesn't really matter, often, because most outfits are so long that they hide the feet. Men. Men's clothing tend to be much simpler. Huangchun: Very similar to a changshan. A simply patterned, single-colored shirt accompanied by trousers and slippers. Shanhu, male: The male version of Shanhu tends to be shorter: having shorter sleeves and revealing the feet. These tend to have more variety, but still remain within earthy-tones. Often, these are designed with patterns: each one usually hold on a meaning depending on a person. Let's say the emperor were to wear one, it'd have a wolf, or a dragon to indicate his bravery and leadership, etc. [W.I.P]
Relations: UK: Strictly Trading Partners. Japan: Mutual Hatred. China: Acquaintances, Good Trading Partners. Philippines: Looks to her like a sister.
Major Exports: Fish, rice, electromechanical products, crude oil, automobiles, metals, and spygear of all sorts.
Religious Affiliation: Láng-Bǎoshí has revived old religions such as Buddhism, though the population is split between Shintoism and Confucianism, a minority being Taoists. (Abrahamic religions are looked down upon.)
Special Abilities: The people there are very spiritual, believing in Yaoguai and Yōkai, gods and demons, etc.. Amongst the people, there are many warlocks, palm-readers, those types of people and jobs preformed in secret. This gives her the ability to see these other-wordly creatures (all types, east-to-west,) and she can preform a teeny bit of dark magic. However, she must hide this ability, or else she'll be punished by Supreme Emporer Zhòng Kāng II. Mainly because he doesn't want anyone to overthrow him. In fact, all magic of sorts is banned in Láng-Bǎoshí.
