Brief personality: Ori's personality is akin to that of a young child, being very innocent and dependent on their caregiver. But as the story goes on, Ori's character shows a massive amount of determination. Even in the face of death itself, he never stops to do the right thing. Ori never once gives up hope. Ori is also very forgiving and kindhearted, willing to help those who have entered the darkness.
Brief physical description: Ori is a small white creature with a similar stance to a human. Ori has a cat-like tail and large dark blue eyes. Ori has two short horn-like ears on top of his head, and underneath them there are larger ears. These ears droop when Ori is unhappy or weak. His name is of Hebrew origin, literally meaning "Light" or "My Light".

The Tree of life is sometimes referred as the Tree of light. The light radiating from the tree itself shows the manifestation of the spirits of life.

Bash: Projectiles targeting Ori will make Ori jump at the projectile and if Ori goes to the direction where he goes, the projectile goes in the opposite direction.
Charge Jump: Ori focuses power, allowing him to jump higher and further.
Climb: Allows Ori to climb any type of surface.
Stomp: While in mid-air, Ori pounds the ground, causing an area in a small radius to be affected.
