Atsushi is a courageous young man with a brilliant smile, giving off a warm and sunny vibe almost constantly. One can almost never find Atsushi in a bad mood, as he finds a way to make the most out of everything. Although he seems to be a bit of an airhead, he’s extremely intelligent and can read through any situation. He may seem oblivious or naive, but he can almost predict what others are thinking. He’s infamous for making cheesy jokes, but when a situation turns serious, he’s extremely decisive and quick to act. The man doesn’t know the word apathy, as he cares about almost everyone he comes across and finds a way to make any situation exciting. A hard worker from the beginning, he’s not afraid to tackle any conflict. He was always a big dreamer as a little kid, so growing up, he strived to achieve the most. Nowadays, he can be considered Japan’s greatest businessman. Although he’s extremely rich, he’s in no way materialistic. He does love cars though, and spends a lot of time caring for his automobiles.

With a winning smile, he has some of the whitest teeth known to mankind, to where some may even call it ‘blinding’. He can typically be seen wearing long-sleeved, collared, or button-down shirts. He always wears black pants though, and upon observing his closet, one may find numerous pairs of the same black pants all hung up neatly. Without ever missing a day, he always wears a red scarf around his neck that belonged to a friend of his that passed away. He keeps clips in his hair when he’s doing paperwork to keep his hair out of his face.

The ward was founded on March 15, 1947 with the merging of Akasaka, Azabu, and Shiba Wards. The name minato means “port”. Minato is governed by mayor Masaaki Takei, an Independent supported by all major parties except the Japanese Communist Party. The city legislative assembly has 51 members and is dominated by the Liberal Democratic Party.
