Name: Benthesikyme Koralliogeni

Representative of: Great Barrier Reef

Gender: Female

Age: 18 human, 6,000-8,000 historical

Brief personality: Kymi is a curious, kind and giddy person, who loves helping others and enjoys making people laugh. Generally seen outdoors, and exploring, she is in touch with nature and takes good care of the environment, supporting every environmentalist cause her time and money allows. Kymi enjoys walking around barefoot, and is most at peace when she can hear the sound of running water. People find it strange that she only drinks water and eats fish, and everything she consumes is covered in a thick crust of sea salt. She is very calm and soft spoken, but can be really violent when she gets angry.

Brief physical description: She is not tall, but not short either, standing at a good 5'6". Her skin is tan, a beautiful combination of sun exposure and her natural tone. Her hair is brown, and thick, and her eyes are a liquid gold. Kymi's legs are long and slender, and although skinny, she is fit and stronger than she looks. While she doesn't wear too much make-up, her nails are always done, no matter what; she believes it to be the trademark of a proper lady.

Brief history: The Great Barrier Reef is located off the coast of Queensland in northeastern Australia. It is the largest living thing on Earth, and even visible from outer space. The 2,300km-long ecosystem comprises thousands of reefs and hundreds of islands made of over 600 types of hard and soft coral. It's home to countless species of colourful fish, molluscs and starfish, plus turtles, dolphins and sharks. The iconic Great Barrier Reef is blessed with the breathtaking beauty of the world's largest coral reef.

Religious affiliation: None

Any special powers or abilities: She can hold her breath for 25 minutes, and has a very keen sense of smell.

I wouldn't know what to group this as. What do you think?

Also, why Kirkland?

Maybe "Water"?

Also, the Kirkland comes from the fact that she's located between Australia and NZ, and that technically the Reef "belongs" to them. Since they were, and somehow culturally still are British colonies I thought the last name could stick. I can change it, if you'd rather!

Well Australia nor New Zealand are Kirkland's since they're only part of the commonwealth. But I don't think it'd fit in water since it represents life form under water, not water itself.

Also, no need to apologise for replying with your main account.

I'll do Oceania, I suppose.

Also, it doesn't show you changed her last name on the app?

But why is she 35 historically? I'm sure the Great Barrier Reef is older than that.

Also, your personality only has 4 sentences, and it needs 5 to be accepted.

Yeah, ofc it is! But it wasn't until 35 years ago that the Reef was recognized and inscribed in the UNESCO Patrimoine for humanity. There really isn't a date in time that people have been able to say "This is when the thing actually formed" and been 100% sure of it.
I'll add the missing line in a bit~

Done!
I gave her a time margin of 2,000 years between what scientists speculate.
