Harleen Nanda.

Physical Description:
Eyes: Hazel, blue undertone.
Hair: Black.
Height: 5’6.
Weight: 117.
More Info:
The intezaari tend to take on a common tan skin, dark hair, brown eyed looked due to their heavy past of indian influence. However, it’s more common than not to find a few with lighter skin due to the mix of British impact as well.
A feature unqiue to Intezaar is the eye shade, although being a primarily desi country, the people there tend to have more hazel eyes, sometimes blue in the light, in contrast to their asian heritage. But don’t get it wrong, they’re still very much human.

Brief Personality:
Influenced by her past, Harleen is a calm, spiritual woman with a knack for dancing and mathematics. Unafraid to speak her mind, this has caused some past conflicts and makes her seem a bit rude. Although, she isn’t at all selfish, and is rather selfless, in contrast to her neighbors. (Which Isn’t a lie, I’ll admit). In fact, she believes in equality for all, regardless of race, religion, gender, or anything.
When meeting someone for the first time, or being asked questions, she often becomes nervous. Usually, during these situations, she tries to come up with a lie but usually fails.
Aside from that, she has a talent for dancing, though she’s not too confident about that, or anything really. Same goes for mathematics, though that has built up over time, unlike her natural talent for dancing.
In her own time, she’s rather girly and fangirls over hot dudes, something one might not expect with her fierce attitude and past. But, she doesn’t do this on front of others, to keep up her fearless demeanor.
Another thing to note is that Harleen isn’t forgiving, and never forgets any major moments in her past, and will hold others accountable for it. Nowadays, she doesn’t even try to resolve these past relations, and does her best to ignore those she dislikes. However, this causes her to be bad at making friends, which makes her quite sad at times, as Harleen is one to enjoy the company of others. That’s not the only reason, though. Often, she doesn’t like to open up to others, and shares minimal information.
But, that doesn’t stop her. For some unknown reason, this lady has an easy time flirting, and enjoys it. Don’t get her wrong, though. She still believes in long, serious relationship rather than one-timer, loveless ones. In fact, flirting to her is just another way of complimenting others. She never expects anybody to flirt back or actually develop a crush on her. But, if she ever did get a lover, they’d be in luck. Everyday they’d get a well-cooked, homemade meal, because Harleen is quite the cook. Though, she can only cook certain dishes better than others. Plus, her clumsiness makes her prone to spilling ingredients on the floor, and tripping over her own two feet on her daily walk.
When she speaks, her accent is mainly Indian, with a slight posh tone to it. However, she tries her best to hide this factor, as she isn’t fond of the English. Although, when she’s alone, her singing skills are through the roof! But, she herself doesn’t know that as well as the residents who hear her. That being said, at times, Harleen tends to be loud, and annoys others very often.
Though, Harleen is very naive. “Ignorance is bliss,” right?

Personal History:
(Coming Soon.)

Representative Of:
Socialist Republic of Intezaar.

“Waiting in hopeful anticipation,” is the literal translation.

Former Country Names:

Day Formed:
September 1, 1947.

Socialist Republic.

In the Arabian sea, between Oman and Mumbai.

Around 40,000 square miles.

“Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe aajadi dunga.”  Translated: ‘Give me your blood, and I’ll give you your freedom.”

India: She disliked him due to their heavy past conflicts, and still does to this day. She refuses to trade, or have any relation with him. They don’t even speak.
UK: Somewhat friendly relations, trading partners.
China: During their fight for independence, China stocked the Zaari with weapons, food, etc. To this day, they're still friendly trading partners. Close friends, too.
Pakistan: Close friends.
Japan: Although they have no historical relations, the Zaari trade with Japan for their advanced technology.
South Korea: Despite the fact that S. Korea poses no threat, Intezaar is heavily afraid of them. Perhaps it's due to the fact that the nation shares a border with N. Korea.
Ellysar: BFFs.

Major Exports:
Fish, Rice, Cotton, Spices, Silk.

Religious Affiliation:
Intezaar is known for its Hindu influence, and the many Hindu sites scattered around the island. This being so because of their past relation with India. But, with being so close to Oman, Muslim immigrants move to Intezaar and spread their religion as well.

Special Abilities
The Intezaari are known to be very spiritual, and talking to spirits and ghosts is a normal thing amongst the citizens. So much so that when a tourist visits, they're often confused as to why the locals are chatting with thin air.

What did you use to make the map? That's awesome!

Many believe that it's wonderful to be a nation.

But they forget...

There's the pain. The destruction. The loneliness.

Worst of all... matter what you do... will never forget the damage...

...of losing your closest friends...

...because you were too stupid to open your eyes and realise what you had before it was all
